EW-4 & Ensemble of Nomads TWO BY FOUR

Two contemporary music ensembles realise a multimedia concert in which amplified instruments (keyboard, cello, guitar and percussion) meet digital controllers – EWI’s (electronic wind instruments). This mixture of analogue and digital sounds is combined with visual design, video projections and stage and lighting design.

The composers chosen for this project were requested because of their great experience in the field of multimedia performances: Wolfgang Heiniger (CH/D), Piotr Peszat (Poland) and Stefan Wirth (CH) In addition, a piece written for EW-4 in 2018 by Emilio Guim (CH) will be included in the programme.
